The Chawla residence is anchored by a sharp interplay of texture and geometry. In the main lounge, deep-seated bouclé sofas provide a soft, ivory foundation that balances the heavy, architectural presence of the crocodile-embossed coffee table. To ground these airy proportions, we introduced dark-wood Curule benches with silver-toned hardware, bringing a rhythmic, classical weight to the marble-clad interiors.
Linear Heritage
Transitioning into the dining and private quarters, the focus shifts to organic warmth and verticality. A massive, live-edge timber table acts as a raw, honey-toned centerpiece, sharpened by the addition of jewel-toned teal upholstery. In the master suite, the scale is defined by a slender four-poster bed in polished wood, set against a backdrop of fine-striped textiles and muted botanical wallpaper. Each piece serves as a structural anchor, transforming neutral volumes into a residence with a clear, editorial soul.
